11 Months!

Weight: 20lbs 8.5oz (Aniston had to go to the doctor this week so I know her exact weight this month)

Height:

Clothing Size: 6-9 months

Diapers: Size 3

Feeding: Aniston drinks 20-24 ounces of formula every day. She eats Stage 3 baby food and lots of "real" food too.  We haven't found anything she doesn't like!  We gave her a little bit of pizza for the first time last week and she loved it!  She's not picky at all right now.  She has been so hungry the last week or so!  She must be going through a growth spurt.  I can't believe how much she's eating lately!

Hair/Eyes: Aniston's eyes are blue. Her hair is light brown. She has cute little curls at the bottom of her hair on both sides right below her ears.

Sleep: Sleep has been wonderful for most of this month!  Aniston has been going to bed earlier (between 7:00 and 7:30) and sleeps until around 7:30 the next morning.  She won't let us rock her to sleep anymore. :(
Likes:
--Playing in the cabinets.
--Going outside on warm days.
--Music.
--Being tickled.

Dislikes:
--The carseat, highchair, jumper, etc.
--Being told no.
Fun Stuff:
--Aniston (finally!) has two teeth!  She's leaving little scratches on the edge of the end table now.  :)
--She's at the age where being told "no" hurts her feelings and makes her angry.  Bradley told her no when she was biting on the end table, and you would have thought the world was ending!  Her eyes got huge and she cried and cried.  She did the same thing when Uncle Eric took a highlighter away from her last week.
--Aniston is a dramatic little thing.  She has such a personality already!
--I love watching her grow and learn!
--She's a really fast crawler and loves to cruise around the furniture.  She's able to stand on her own some, but she hasn't made an effort to walk yet.
--She does pat-a-cake really well!
--Blowing raspberries is fun again, only now she is much stronger than she was a few months ago....so she spits everywhere.  She'll also blow a raspberry if you ask, "How does a tractor go?"  She spends lots of time looking at tractors with her great-papaw.
--Speaking of great-papaw, she started saying "Papaw" this month.  She has four words--mama, dada, bye-bye, and papaw--but she doesn't use them consistently.
--We celebrated Valentine's Day with our little valentine!  It's so hard to believe that last year on Valentine's Day we attended our first childbirth class!
--Aniston had to go to the doctor for her first sick visit this month.  She woke up with a droopy eyelid on Wednesday morning, and I panicked.  No worries, though--Dr. H checked her out and everything is fine. :)

Party Planning

First of all, I am SO incredibly frustrated with Blogger (and myself!) right now!  I was changing things around on the blog--backgrounds, fonts, and such--and completely messed up.  I've learned a valuable lesson though: Never mess with the HTML again.  Not only have I wasted hours of my life on it, I wasn't able to fix it and have a plain jane background now.  :(  Oh, well.  The background will just have to do until I decide to pay someone to fix the whole thing....because I'm certainly not touching it again!  Ha!

Anyway, onto the actual post that should have been written hours ago....

Birthday party planning is in full swing!  I'm trying to be reasonable with the party, but it's so hard!  There are so many cute things out there for birthday parties.  Cupcake toppers, banners, labels for party food...so many things!  And, of course, the birthday girl needs a birthday outfit (or two!) for pictures and the party!  Bradley keeps kindly pointing out that Aniston will not remember this party.  My reply is that I'll remember it!

It makes my stomach feel all squenchy (that's a technical term) when I think about the fact that we're planning a party because Aniston will be one year old in just over a month.  I'm not sure how that's possible!  This has been the fastest year of my life, without a doubt.  It's so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day stuff and not realize how quickly time is passing.

I watched her sleep tonight, all snuggly and cute in her footie pajamas.  She still takes my breath away.  She amazes me every day.  She's growing and changing and learning....and I'm so blessed to be a part of it all!
